Ms Melanie Lowe has joined as a Research Fellow at the McCaughey VicHealth Community Wellbeing Unit.
Ms Melanie Lowe has joined as a Research Fellow at the McCaughey VicHealth Community Wellbeing Unit, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. She will be working part-time with Paula Hooper and Fiona Bull from the NHMRC CRE in Healthy Liveable Communities Theme 5 Team, focused on policy analysis of urban design policies; and with Hannah Badland and Paula on complementary policy analyses on liveability for the Clean Air and Urban Landscapes Hub of the National Environment and Science Program. Her research will focus on how policy and planning can support the creation of healthier urban environments. This builds on her PhD, which she is currently completing at The University of Melbourne. From 2014-15 she was a founding National Co-chair of the Australasian Early Career Urban Research Network (AECURN).
